Home theaters are considered to be the most sought after widescreen movies with high quality surround sound. If you have a separate room, then why not try to assemble a full-fledged home theater on your own, which will certainly be considered the central and integral part of any home?
The first step is to choose a TV. If the room is dark, it is advisable to choose a plasma TV. And the situation is the opposite, if the room faces the sunny side, it is preferable to choose LCD or LED TVs, which, due to the internal illumination emitted by photodiodes, are able to guarantee a brighter image.
To watch 3D movies in LK21, you need 3D Plasma TVs with both built-in converters and specialized glasses. And of course, to have a Blue-Ray player, coupled with 3D content, “weighing” at least 17 GB for each!
But all LCD TVs are different in one thing – bad sound. This is due to the fact that it is quite problematic to place high-quality speakers with large dimensions inside a thin case. That is why it is important to immediately purchase a high-quality audio system, in which there will definitely be a place not only for speakers, but also for a subwoofer. For example, if you choose the most common 5: 1 option, then this will mean the presence of five speakers and one subwoofer. However, in recent years, 7: 2 or even 9: 2 systems have been widely encountered!
For true surround sound, it’s important to get your hands on an AV receiver that can convert stereo to surround sound right away. In this case, the TV and the receiver must have an HDMI interface, to which HDMI cables are attached, capable of transmitting video or audio signal in a fully digitized form.
If at home there are ready-made speakers of the Soviet model, say the S-90, then you can limit yourself to a simple amplifier that is capable of one thing – amplifying the sound. But sometimes even this may not be enough for a really high-quality sound – you will have to buy a high-quality graphic equalizer (but not electronic), thanks to which you can achieve different frequencies in manual mode.
When choosing speakers, it is important to pay attention to their resistance, it is not the case if the system requires resistance in the range of 6-8 ohms, and the speakers themselves are not more than 4 ohms. You can seriously forget about good sound for a long time.
Speakers can be wired or wireless. For the most part, the wired option is chosen, since even wireless speakers that receive a signal from the receiver require their own power supply via a 220 V outlet or built-in battery, which requires periodic recharging.
All of the above equipment is easy to choose, and even more so – it is easy to set up even for a person who is not very familiar with the technique. It is enough to have at hand instructions in Russian and a clear head, how everything is assembled in a few tens of minutes!
